Senior Vice President International Affairs

Giovanni Rocca has been Senior Vice President for the International Business Promotion in Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane SpA (Italian Railways – Holding) since October 2019. He has held a number of positions in the Group prior to this one, including Head of International Development and Head of Marketing in the Cargo Division of Trenitalia. Previously, Mr. Rocca worked for Ansaldo Energia in San Jose’, Costa Rica, and later Ansaldo North America in Miami, Florida. Mr. Rocca holds a degree in Business Administration/Economics from the University of Rome and served for seven years in the Italian Navy as Navy officer and three in the Italian Naval Academy. Giovanni is an Italian and Hungarian national.
